Our in-store team is expertly run by Pastry Chef Owner, Brittany Austin. Her team includes two full-time Pastry Cooks. All our Pastry Team are culinary school graduates and have had years of experience. Our baking staff and delivery service keep our customers happy! We offer quality and professionalism that provide customers confidence in booking Taste & Sea for their weddings and special events.

Head Pastry Chef Brittany Austin

Brittany Austin has been artistically preparing desserts at prestigious San Diego locations. She is a graduate of San Diego Culinary Institute, 2008. She was with the pastry team at Grand Del Mar Resort for two years. Recently she served Claire’s on Cedros as a pastry chef.  Private events, weddings, theme party cakes are specialties of Brittany.  She has advanced talents in hand-painted designs and custom-molded cakes. Rave reviews follow Brittany from Spain to San Diego.
